Fimlu respects your privacy. We only collect the information we need to operate the store, deliver the books you purchase, and provide a safe, reliable experience for families.
Who this policy covers
Fimlu accounts are intended for adults. Parents and guardians use Fimlu to discover and buy digital books for their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

- Payment information required for verification, such as proof of payment you upload for review

Google Sign-In
You may sign in to Fimlu using Google. When you choose Google Sign-In, Fimlu only receives the information you approve, such as:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your profile image, if you choose to share it
Fimlu never receives your Google password.
Cookies
Fimlu uses cookies and similar technologies only to keep the site working properly. These include:
- Login sessions
- Security protections
- Shopping cart contents
- User preferences
- Website performance and reliability
We do not sell your browsing data, and we do not use cookies to track you across unrelated websites.
App usage analytics
When Fimlu is installed as an app, we record a small amount of anonymous usage information so we can see how the app is actually used and improve it. This is on by default and you can turn it off below at any time.
What we record:
- That an installation was reported by your browser, and the first app launch we see
- App sessions and how long the app was actively in use
- A coarse device platform, browser family, and whether the app or a browser was used
- A random identifier for the installed app, stored only on your own device
What we never record for analytics:
- Your name, email address, or account identity
- Anything you type, including form contents and messages
- Payment details or order contents
- Device fingerprinting, advertising identifiers, or cross-site tracking
Ordinary website visits and full-screen reading are not counted as app sessions, and administrator activity is excluded. The information is anonymous, is never linked to your account, and is only visible to Fimlu administrators as totals. This description explains our practice; it is not a statement that any particular law's requirements are met.
App usage analytics are currently on for this browser or app.
Turning it off stops collection straight away and deletes anything not yet sent. Because app storage and browser storage are kept separate, the installed Fimlu app and your browser each remember their own choice.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
